Post Election UpDate. As many of you know we were not successfull in getting a Majority of the votes. Our campaign amassed about 700 votes or 6%+- of the vote. We can be satisfied that we received the BEST 6 % of the voters and these 6% of the Voters had a REAL choice instead of having to vote for the lesser of two evils. It needs to be remembered that it was only 3% that participated in the Revolutionary war. One candidate spent $50,000 for 10,000 votes or $5 per vote. Another Candidate spent $7000 for 5000 votes. Our campaign spent $700 for 700 votes or $1 per vote. A good showing for the Constitution Party at any rate. A true NoBama/NoRino campaign.

Detailed Platform :
1. MS INSURANCE REFORM :

1.2 INSURANCE FOR PROFIT ONLY : To replace high profit insurance ( Which does not pay claims ) with non profit cooperatives ( Which always pay claims ) i.e. Wind Pool, All Perils Natural Disaster Insurance, NFIP National Flood Insurance Program, etc ... .
1.3 RATE INCREASES : To reform the insurance industry such that they cannot increase your insurance rates once they have quoted you a rate. Require that all insurance be purchased on credit such that there is no possibility that the policy can be cancelled

1.5 HIGH WATER MARKS : To reform the insurance industry such that the person selling the policy informs the insured what the base floor elevation of the home is and where 30 foot Katrina Water Mark will be on their roof, 2nd floor, or 1st floor ( Regardless of Published FEMA Flood Zones ).
1.6 CONSTRUCTION - GRANDFATHER CLAUSE : To guarantee that those Mississippi Citizens whose homes did not suffer structural damage during Hurricane Katrina be able to repair their homes to Pre-Katrina building codes and be guaranteed affordable subsidized insurance rates. Regional Republican Leadership Conference held in Biloxi
Mississippi. This convention was hosted by Governor
Fordice, Senator Lott, and Senator Cochran and was attended by
Speaker Gingrich, and Congressman Bob Barr, and
several presidential Candidates. At this convention, Overstreet worked
with Congressman Barr in promoting HR304 which
led to the eventual impeachment of bill clinton.
