The CIA generally morphs into doing the bidding of WhatEver Politicians have Influence Over It and/or Those who have achieved rank in the CABEL. The CIA is known to have been involved in Assassinations of Foreign Leaders who do not support its Whims. For Domestic Assassinations The CIA typically hires Mafia Hit Men to do their dirty work. LBJ was known to have been instrumental in the creation of the CIA. JFK was known to have fired several CIA Leaders. JFK was known to have been in support of Shattering the CIA into a Million Pieces or something to that Effect. Needless to say, the CIA did not approve of JFK. Additionally, the CIA operatives viewed JFK as an Obstacle in the OperationMongoose/BayOfPigs endeavor back in 1961.

This Allowed JFK to be Elected as POTUS over Richard Nixon. Additionally, The Kennedy's in their quest to get involved in things, Embarked on a campaign to investigate and imprison members of the Italian Mafia. The Italian Mafia viewed this action as a DoubleCross and were more than agreeable to assist the CIA in their endeavors. From the looks of things this did not work out well for the Kennedys.

He was also Known to be involved in embezzling Government Funds for the benefit of his Political Henchmen Minus the KickBacks he is known to have received for his services. It is know he was on the verge of going to Jail to being involved in too many murders and embezzling too much government money. It is also known he was on the verge of being kicked off the POTUS Ticket due to the embarrassment he caused the Kennedy Administration. LBJs only ticket out was to arrange to have JFK bumped off.
05 OF 10 - OIL MAFIA : JFK has proposed eliminating the Oil Depletion Allowance for Oil Companies. This equated to a 30% Increase in Taxes on Oil Revenues. One thing led to another.
